Sound the bugle now
Play it just for me As the seasons change, remember how I used to be Now I can't go on I can't even start I've got nothing left, just an empty heart I'm a soldier, wounded so I must give up the fight There's nothing more for me, lead me away Or leave me lying here.. Sound the bugle now Tell them I don't care There's not a road I know that leads to anywhere Without a light I fear that I will stumble in the dark Lay right down, decide not to go on.. Then from on high, somewhere in the distance There's a voice that calls, "remember who your are" If you lose yourself, your courage soon will follow So be strong tonight. Remember who you are.. Yeah, you're a soldier now Fighting in a battle To be free once more.. Yeah that's worth fighting for ... oh my god. My first ever background. This took absoloutely HOURS. I spent so much time on it. And I'm actually pretty damn proud of it. The clouds look sorta ugly ... but oh well. Clouds are hard to draw. >.< And a lot of the rain can't be seen. ._. I made the sky too light. Grr. I did this in 2 different programs, so I had to keep saving it and switching from them to add different brushes and whatnot. god. I put so much effort and time into this. I hope it shows. xD Sunkisst's pose and angle were hard too, but I love how she came out. This is also kinda vent art. Life's sorta difficult at the moment... But I'll live through it. Which is why there's a little yellow light in the distance. (: it's obviously symbolizing hope. Which I've almost lost completely. I'll keep stretching for it though.
